  17. A friend of mine is trying to download files from a BBS but is unable to do so despite being able to connect.

  19. More specifically, on being prompted to commence download the following is typed in but does not work:

  23. The problem is apparently due to being unable to connect the Unix stdin of kermit to the communication line.  Any pointers or suggestions will be appreciated.
